Fawn Cook, LMBT 3616

Fawn opened Serendipity Massage in July of 2010 after embarking on her own amazing journey of transformation and healing. In 2003, she was overworked and overstressed in a corporate job that held no appeal to her. Seeing the toll it took on her life, and the impact that overworking the body and spirit had on her physical health and interpersonal relationships, she decided to study massage therapy at Southeastern School of Massage and Neuromuscular Therapy. She fell in love with massage right away, noticing how much better she felt while recieving massage therapy in school. She decided to leave her stress behind, and live a life that encouraged others to treat their souls to peace and happiness.

Fawn is trained in swedish, deep tissue, neuromuscular therapy, reflexology, body rebalancing, and prenatal therapy. She is also a trained birth doula and childbirth educator. She was voted "Best Massage Therapy" in the Fort Mill Times, Top of the Times 2009.

Whitney Smith, LMBT 7207

Whitney is a Licensed Massage Therapist and Body worker in both Florida and South Carolina and is also Nationally Certified in these fields. She completed Massage Therapy school at the beach in Pensacola, Florida. Originally from New York, Whitney moved to Fort Mill to be closer to family in 2010. After meeting Fawn, she knew that Serendipity Massage was the place for her to practice and has loved every minute of her job!

Whitney holds a Bachelors Degree in Psychology from Virginia Commonwealth University and was interested as an undergrad in Physical Therapy. After starting graduate school in that field, she realized it wasn't for her, and began counseling clients in weight loss in the Richmond area. Years later, looking for a career and life change, she found Massage Therapy, where she could both help people and have the most serene job there is. The practice of bringing physical and mental well being as well as a peaceful hour to clients appealed to Whitney. She is trained in Swedish, Deep Tissue, and Hot Stone Massage, and looks forward to learning the art of Thai Massage this year.
